Our academic staff contributes to the design research with their TUBITAK and European Union projects. Our students start to prepare for their academic careers from the undergraduate level.

TUBITAK 1001 Project


Our faculty members Assist. Prof. Aydın Öztoprak, Assist. Prof. Armağan Karahanoğlu ve Assist. Prof. Ali Emre Berkman, re-design the workout tools in public workout parks with the TUBITAK 1001 Program. It is aimed with this project that the workout tools in public parks are designed by using scientific methods in a way to benefit the users, and to increase thier usage frequency with the behavior change method to contribute to the general public health.

TUBITAK 1002 Project


Our academic staff Assist. Prof. Armağan Karahanoğlu researches the stages of the technological product use within the TUBITAK 1002 Program. The project aims to test the usability of “the durable product experience” model for the designers, which is developed to understand how users experience the technological products, and by identifying its challenges, to integrate it as a tool into the ideation stage in the technological product development process.

Erasmus + Project


Assist. Prof. Bülben Yazıcı works on an educational web portal project about the importance of biomimicry in design, with the BİOFORENT Biomimicry for Entrepreneurs Project within the European nion Erasmus + Program First Act 2.
