Monthly Living Allowances as of the Fall Term of the 2024-2025 Academic Year

TAll students who are included in the full scholarship quota receive a living allowance according to the above-table. 3,000 ₺ will be deducted from the living allowance of full scholarship students who choose to stay in the guesthouse.

All scholarship opportunities provided by TOBB ETÜ to our full scholarship students are non-refundable. These scholarship opportunities are not cut off for 8 years including preparatory class for students of the Faculty of Medicine and 5 years + 1 term for students of other faculties and departments, regardless of the academic achievement of the student. Preparatory class is included in these specified periods. Living allowances during the education period are paid for 10 months per year in the English Preparatory class and 11 months per year for students in the departments. Full scholarship students to do their coop education practice are paid the portion of their salary during that period, if any, that is above the Living Allowance they are receiving during the coop education period. If specified in the coop education protocol, living allowances of scholarship students who do the coop education in an institution that does not pay fees due to its legislation and structure are not cut off during the coop education period.

Full scholarship students who are not in the top 10,000 in the SAY and EA score types, in the top 5,000 in the SÖZ score type, or in the top 2,500 in the DİL score type in the 2023 Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) will stay at the guesthouse with a 50% discount.

 

 

 

PARTIAL SCHOLARSHIPS

Term Fees for Partial Scholarship Holders for 2024 – 2025

Education at TOBB ETU is fee-based. In order for more students to have access to the superior opportunities we offer, we offer discounts on our tuition fees with partial scholarship quotas. Students with 50% scholarship are entitled to a discount on their tuition fees in proportion to the type of quota they have won. The fee discounts provided by partial scholarship quotas are not cut off for 8 years, including the preparatory class, for students of the School of Medicine, and for 5 years + 1 term (16 terms in total) for students of other faculties and departments.

A discount in the guesthouse fee is provided in the amount of the scholarship for students who are in the top 50,000 in the SAY, EA and SÖZ score types and in the top 7,500 in the DİL score type in the 2024 Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS).

FIRST 100 SCHOLARSHIP

We offer different opportunities to students who are in the top 100 in any score type in the YKS, in addition to the opportunities provided to students with full scholarships.

We provide support for students in the top 100 in YKS who are placed with TOBB ETÜ as their first choice to spend one term of their preparatory class education at an institution abroad that TOBB ETÜ will approve, for a maximum of four months. With regard to this support, the tuition fee of the educational institution abroad and the round-trip flight ticket expenses to the relevant country are covered by TOBB ETÜ, and the student's living allowance payment continues throughout their education abroad.

SCIENCE OLYMPIADS SCHOLARSHIPS

 

Scholarships Available According to Science Olympiad Achievements

We provide scholarships to students who are ranked in National and International Science Olympiads recognized by TÜBİTAK, in proportion to their achievements. Students among the top 50,000 in the score type they were placed in TOBB ETÜ benefit from all the scholarships and opportunities (tuition exemption, free guesthouse and living allowance) that full scholarship students benefit from when they document their Olympiad rankings. EDUCATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT SCHOLARSHIP

You can get scholarships after you start education

Students without a full scholarship can still earn tuition fee exemption by showing superior achievement after starting their education. Students who register to TOBB ETÜ outside of the full scholarship quota (partial scholarship and fee-based) can be exempted from tuition fee for the following 1 academic term, provided that they meet the course load and credit load requirements stipulated in the University's scholarship directive and their general grade point average is 3.5 out of 4 and higher, within the Achievement Scholarship quotas of the faculties. A student who has won an achievement scholarship can still earn another achievement scholarship by meeting the necessary conditions. Get detailed information.

EDUCATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT SCHOLARSHIP QUOTAS

The quotas for the Educational Achievement Scholarship are determined on condition that they do not exceed 5 percent of the weighted ÖSYS quota (the quota calculated according to the percentage of the number of students with equivalent fees at the faculties to the number of TOBB ETÜ students with equivalent fees) of each faculty, excluding the full scholarship status.
