Note: Only Full Scholarship recipients receive a living stipend. All other scholarship types provide tuition fee waivers only.

GRADUATE SCHOOL OF HEALTH SCIENCES 2024 - 2025 ACADEMIC YEAR TUITION FEES

NOTE: Summer semester tuition fees will be redetermined by the Board of Trustees, taking inflation rates into consideration. Students who wish to pay the full tuition fee at the beginning of the academic year will be charged the annual tuition fee, calculated as the equivalent of three semesters' tuition.

• The semester tuition fee is payable regardless of whether the student registers for that semester.
• Tuition fees for graduate programs are set at 30% of the tuition fees for undergraduate programs.
• The semester tuition fee is calculated as one-third of the annual tuition fee.

Application Criteria

Required Documents for Application

1- Copy of Diploma or Graduation Certificate:

A notarized copy or a copy certified by the issuing institution of the undergraduate and/or master's diploma or graduation certificate. Diplomas obtained outside Türkiye must have equivalency approved by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). Applicants who are still students must submit a document issued by their university certifying that they are expected to graduate.

2- Transcript:

The original or a certified copy of the undergraduate and/or master's transcript showing all grades and cumulative grade point average.

3- ALES Score Report:

A printout obtained from the internet is sufficient. The score report must be valid at the time of application. (ALES scores are valid for five years.)

4- Foreign Language Proficiency Certificate:

The original or a copy of the TOEFL iBT, YDS (e-YDS), or YÖKDİL score report. Applicants who wish to obtain a language proficiency certificate by taking the TOBB ETÜ English Proficiency Examination must take the examination on the announced date. (YDS, e-YDS, and YÖKDİL scores are valid for five years. TOEFL iBT scores are valid for two years.)

5- One (1) Photograph and Identity Document:

One photocopy of the Turkish Identity Card showing the applicant's Turkish Identification Number (T.C. Identity Number). Both sides of the identity card must be copied onto the same side of an A4 sheet, and the Turkish Identification Number must also appear on the same page.

6- Letters of Recommendation:

At least two letters of recommendation from different referees (preferably university faculty members), prepared using the TOBB ETÜ Graduate School of Health Sciences Letter of Recommendation Form. The letters must be submitted in sealed and signed envelopes.

7- Statement of Purpose:

A letter explaining the applicant's reasons for pursuing a Master's or Doctoral degree. The letter should describe the applicant's research interests, indicate the faculty members at TOBB ETÜ with whom the applicant wishes to work, explain the applicant's expectations from the graduate program, and outline future career plans after obtaining the degree.

8- Application Fee:

Proof of payment (receipt) showing that the TRY 300.00 application fee has been deposited into the following account:

The application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances. Please make sure that the payment description includes the applicant's name, surname, and the phrase "application fee."

In Addition;

• Applicants applying as TÜBİTAK BİDEB Scholarship recipients must submit documentation certifying that they have been awarded the scholarship.
• Applicants employed by companies located in technoparks or by R&D organizations and applying to a thesis-based master's program under the Research Scholarship scheme must submit a certificate of employment together with documentation showing that their employer is eligible under this scholarship scheme.

International Applicants

In addition to the application documents, international applicants must submit a copy of their passport. A student visa and residence permit will be required after final admission.

International applicants who are unable to satisfy the ALES requirement must obtain:

• For Doctoral applications: a minimum score of 160 out of 170 in the GRE Quantitative Reasoning section and 3.0 out of 6.0 in the GRE Analytical Writing section.
• For scholarship Master's applications: a minimum score of 160 out of 170 in the GRE Quantitative Reasoning section and 3.0 out of 6.0 in the GRE Analytical Writing section.
• For tuition-paying Master's applications: a minimum score of 156 out of 170 in the GRE Quantitative Reasoning section and 3.0 out of 6.0 in the GRE Analytical Writing section.

Special Students

• A document certifying enrollment at another university (Student Certificate).
• A photocopy of the Turkish Identity Card showing the Turkish Identification Number (T.C. Identity Number).
• A completed Special Student Application Form.
• Students wishing to take courses at our University as Special Students must also submit the Resolution of the Administrative Board of their home university if they wish the course(s) taken at TOBB ETÜ to be recognized in place of another course.

Documents Required for Registration

• A certified copy of the ALES Score Report.
• A certified copy of the Foreign Language Proficiency Certificate.
• A certified copy of the Undergraduate Diploma.
• A certified copy of the Master's Diploma (for Doctoral applicants).
• A certified copy of a recently issued Turkish Identity Card, together with a photocopy of the original identity card.
• A recently issued Certificate of Residence.
• For male students, a Military Service Clearance Certificate obtained from the relevant military service office.
  Three photographs taken within the last six months.

For tuition-paying students:

• Proof of payment (receipt) showing that the first of the three equal annual installments of the annual Master's tuition fee (including VAT) has been deposited into Account No. 6298460 at Garanti Bankası Mustafa Kemal Mahallesi Branch (IBAN: TR28 0006 2001 3320 0006 2984 60).
