Dr. Erhan Ferhatoğlu to Represent TOBB ETÜ at ICSV32

Dr. Erhan Ferhatoğlu, a faculty member of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at TOBB University of Economics and Technology, will represent our university at the 32nd International Congress on Sound and Vibration (ICSV32), which will be held in Istanbul, Türkiye, between 5 and 10 July 2026. As part of the congress, Dr. Ferhatoğlu will serve as a co-chair of the technical session series entitled "Vibration and Control of Nonlinear Mechanical Systems." This special session will bring together leading researchers working in the fields of nonlinear structural dynamics, frictional contact mechanics, jointed structures, uncertainty quantification, and advanced computational modeling.

Dr. Ferhatoğlu will also present his research paper entitled "Investigation of Joint Interface-Induced Vibration Response Variability in Frictional Turbine Blades". Throughout the congress, Dr. Ferhatoğlu will contribute to the scientific program by chairing this five-part session series, while also sharing his latest research with the international scientific community.
