The awards of the developers of the 3 projects, which were found worthy of rewarding amongst hundreds of ideas submitted for the contest, were delivered during the ceremony held as a part of the Innovation week, organized in Istanbul.

The third prize in the Open Innovation Contest, titled "Geleceğin Ulaşımını Sen Şekillendir" (You Shape the Transportation of Future), was won by the team, comprised of Melis Dizdar, a 4th grade student of the Department of Industrial Design, and Batuhan Yıldırım, a 3rd grade student of the Department of Materials Science and Nanotechnology, with the idea of “Virtual Training Application”.

Believing that "Virtual Reality" applications will gain a considerable ground in the future's world full of smart and electrical vehicles; TEMSA aims to produce the best applications of this critical technology by way of the Open Innovation Contest, titled "Geleceğin Ulaşımını Sen Şekillendir" (You Shape the Transportation of Future), and integrate the same into its products.

The award-winning ideas for virtual reality applications, which are collected through the platform and evaluated by experts, are planned to be actualized jointly by the engineers of Temsa and the creators of the ideas after the award-giving ceremony.

We congratulate Melis Dizdar and Batuhan Yıldırım, who also are entrepreneurs at TOBB ETÜ Garaj, and wish for their success to be continued.
