TOBB ETÜ Economics Students Share Their Professional Experiences at the Fall 2026–2027 Cooperative Education Presentations

Together on Wednesday and Thursday, September 30–October 1, 2026, for the Cooperative Education Presentations, sharing the professional experiences and skills they gained during their Summer 2025–2026 placements.
The students completed their cooperative education placements at institutions and companies spanning a broad range of sectors, from public institutions and professional organizations to banking and auditing, energy and defense, technology, research, manufacturing, and civil society.
During their presentations, students introduced their host organizations and the departments in which they worked, offering insights into professional life. Through placements in areas such as accounting and finance, data analysis, business development, digital marketing, procurement, auditing, exports, pricing, and industrial relations, they had the opportunity to apply their academic knowledge in professional settings and develop their practical skills.
Some of our students completed their placements abroad, gaining firsthand experience of international workplaces and different business cultures. Students who undertook placements at organizations such as the TOBB Brussels Office and Fundación Condado de Taboada also shared their experiences during the presentations.

The Cooperative Education Presentations enabled students to exchange experiences across sectors and explore diverse career opportunities through concrete examples from professional life. The event once again demonstrated the TOBB ETÜ Department of Economics’ commitment to an applied approach to education that integrates theoretical knowledge with professional skills and workplace experience.
