3 HOUR(S) AGO
Students of the Department of Economics at TOBB University of Economics and Technology came together on October 1–2, 2025 (Wednesday and Thursday) for the Cooperative Education Presentation Event, where they shared the experiences they gained during their summer internships with their peers.
The event, which also attracted great interest from the Economics and Finance Society, was held in the 2nd Floor Meeting Hall and was open to all students.
During the presentations, Economics students shared insights from their experiences at a wide range of institutions, including public agencies, non-governmental organizations, defense industry firms, banks, energy and technology companies, auditing firms, and international economic organizations.
As part of their presentations, students provided information on various aspects such as the organizational structures and corporate cultures of the institutions they worked at, their operational processes, and the professional opportunities offered. They also shared in detail the skills they developed in the workplace, the challenges they faced, and the factors that contributed to their personal growth.
Students who completed their Cooperative Education through the Erasmus+ program abroad shared their international experiences and insights into application and adaptation processes, providing valuable guidance to fellow participants.
Following the presentations, a Q&A session was held, allowing participants to directly engage with the speakers and ask questions on topics of interest. In this way, students not only shared their experiences but also created an interactive environment that fostered mutual learning and inspired each other’s career plans.
