TOBB ETÜ Delegation Visits Consul General Başar Başol in St. Petersburg 

Continuing its academic engagements in St. Petersburg, a delegation from TOBB University of Economics and Technology (TOBB ETÜ) paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Başar Başol, Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in St. Petersburg.

The visit was attended by Deputy Consul Alican Özçelik from the Consulate General of Türkiye in St. Petersburg, TOBB ETÜ faculty members Prof. Dr. Burcu Fazlıoğlu and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hakkı Arda Tokat, nine Turkish students participating in a summer education program in the city, and Eray Öztel, a graduate of the Department of International Entrepreneurship who is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Strategic Management, Investment, and Consulting at the Higher School of Economics (HSE) in Moscow.

During the meeting, the participants discussed TOBB ETÜ’s academic activities in Russia, educational and cultural cooperation between the two countries, and the students’ educational experiences in St. Petersburg. Consul General Başar Başol expressed his pleasure at hosting the delegation and welcomed both the TOBB ETÜ representatives and the students to the city. He also conveyed his best wishes for the students’ academic and professional success in the international arena.

 The visit concluded with expressions of mutual goodwill and a group photograph.
