TOBB ETU International Entrepreneurship Department Holds Meeting on Academic and Research Cooperation with China

The Department of International Entrepreneurship at TOBB University of Economics and Technology (TOBB ETU) held a meeting with international education expert Josh Zhang and his team to explore cooperation models between higher education institutions and industrial organizations in China and to identify potential areas for partnership. The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Burcu Fazlıoğlu, Head of the Department, and Daryna Kut, Department Coordinator.

University–Industry Cooperation Models in China Discussed

The meeting focused on university–industry cooperation practices and educational models in China. Discussions addressed the higher education systems and industrial ecosystems of both countries, with particular emphasis on potential academic cooperation opportunities with leading Chinese universities in Hangzhou. The participants also exchanged views on adapting successful practices in China to TOBB ETU’s educational programs.

Potential opportunities to strengthen international academic cooperation and enhance university–industry engagement were also explored. The participants exchanged views on the development of future joint initiatives and institutional cooperation opportunities.
