Joint Evaluation Meeting for the TOBB ETÜ–RFTA Student Exchange Program

An online Zoom meeting was held on 8 December 2025 between the TOBB ETÜ Department of International Entrepreneurship and the Faculty of International Economists and the Department of International Relations of the Russian Foreign Trade Academy (RFTA) in Moscow.

During the meeting, the parties discussed key points regarding the functioning of the current student exchange program, shared mutual experiences, and evaluated issues that require attention throughout the process. In addition, potential new joint programs, opportunities for academic cooperation, and initiatives to further enhance student mobility between the two universities were examined.

The Russian Foreign Trade Academy (RFTA), located in Moscow, is one of Russia’s long-established higher education institutions specializing in foreign trade and international relations. The academy is well known for its strong academic staff in the fields of international economics, foreign trade law, and diplomacy.

The strengthening of commercial and economic relations between Türkiye and Russia is reflected in such academic collaborations, which help foster a strong foundation of mutual cooperation between the two countries in international economics, foreign trade, and diplomacy, while providing valuable opportunities for students.
