UGİ Students at the Embassy of Türkiye in Moscow

As part of the Moscow program, students of our Faculty of International Entrepreneurship met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to the Russian Federation, Mr. Tanju Bilgiç, and the Education Attaché, Mr. Ahmet Gök, at the Embassy of Türkiye in Moscow. They were accompanied by the Head of the Department of International Entrepreneurship, Professor Burcu Fazlıoğlu, and Dr. Hakkı Arda Tokat.

The meeting focused on educational ties between Türkiye and Russia, opportunities for cooperation between universities of the two countries, and the academic experiences of our students in Russia. Information was provided regarding our students’ academic program in Moscow, and assessments of the Russian higher education system were shared.

The meeting was also attended by Mr. Eray Öztel, a 2025 graduate of our Faculty of International Entrepreneurship. He is currently pursuing his studies at the Higher School of Economics (HSE) in Russia, having been awarded a state scholarship of the Russian Federation for a Master’s program in Strategic Management, Investment, and Consulting. His account of his academic experience proved inspiring for the participants.

This visit contributed to strengthening the international academic outlook of our students and to further developing Turkish–Russian cooperation in the field of education.
