APPLICATION PERIOD

For Erasmus + Student for studies, applications are received once a year by the ERASMUS+ Coordinator office, please check regularly the announcements sent to your e-mails.

APPLICATION CRITERIA

  • For first cycle (undergraduate) students minimum 2.20/4.00 CGPA and TOEFL score;
  • For second and third cycle (graduate) students minimum 2.50/4.00 CGPA and TOEFL score;

Students unable to benefit from the program

  • English Preparatory and Scientific Preparatory Program students cannot benefit from the Erasmus Program.
  • Students at their last semester before their graduation cannot participate in the Erasmus program.
  • Erasmus Exchange Program cannot be used in the following stages of doctoral programs:
  1. For doctoral students who have not taken the Ph.D. exam
  2. At the last term for making the thesis Proposal Defense
  3. In the last term of the maximum period of the program
  • The thesis and / or academic advisor and the Institute Presidency are authorized to decide whether the 4th semester master and doctorate students who have not taken the seminar course or have not completed the program course load can benefit from the Erasmus Program.

At each cycle (undergraduate, graduate and doctorate), each student can benefit from mobility for a total of 3-12 months.

PLACEMENT CRITERIA

In addition to the average academic achievement and TOEFL score; while calculating the sum of academic achievement and foreign language scores of students who have previously benefited from Higher Education student or internship mobility within the scope of Lifelong Learning Program or Erasmus + within the same education level, 1 point reduction is applied for each activity previously benefited (regardless of education-internship).

The evaluation criteria and weighted scores to be used in the evaluation of applications for the 2020 contract period are as follows:

  • Academic GPA: 50%
  • Language level: 50%

(Out of 100 points in total)

  • +1 point for disabled students (provided that the disability is documented)
  • Previous Benefit (with or without grant): -1 point
  • Participating in the mobility in the country of citizenship: -1 point

All applicants are placed out of 5 choices made in the application form according to the score order. After this placement, the applications of the students who are qualified in the ranking are sent to the partner universities.

  3. Health Insurance (Valid in the host country)
  4. A Euro bank account (Garanti Bankası Mustafa Kemal Branch)
  5. Photocopy of Passport Identity Section and visa page
  6. Grant Agreement (Sample) (To be prepared by the University)
