Terrorism Experts Conference & Executive Level Defense Against Terrorism Seminar (TEC 2020) Combined Online Event was held on 3-4 November 2020 in cooperation between TOBB Economics and Technology university and NATO Center of Excellence – Defence Against Terrorism, COE-DAT.
The presenters of the TEC 2020 have also been contributing to the Best Practices in Counter-Terrorism Project, which is currently in progress with the cooperation of TOBB ETÜ and COE-DAT.
The conference was held in a global scale, hosting more than 180 civil and military participants from 5 continents and 45 countries and speakers from the US to Singapore, from Turkey to Kenya and the UK. Issues such as cyber security, critical infrastructure, gender and media were highlighted within the context of counter-terrorism.
The seminar was moderated by Prof. Dr. Haldun Yalçınkaya, chair of the Political Science and International Relations Department, TOBB ETÜ.
