More comfortable than your home, the best Student Guesthouse in Ankara is at TOBB ETU. On our main campus, 5 minutes walking distance to our educational buildings for quick access to your classes. All our rooms have private bathrooms, 24-hour hot water, a separate desk for each student and a unique view of Ankara just to cheer you up when you look outside.
About the Guesthouse
The Student Guesthouse is located on the campus, in 4 blocks for girls and boys, with a capacity of 624 rooms and 1418 beds. Most of the rooms are double, but there are also triple rooms.
All rooms have bathrooms and toilets, heating / cooling system, refrigerator, internet, telephone, electronic card entry system. In addition, the kitchen and rest / television room on each floor are used as common areas. There is a turnstile control with a face recognition system at the dormitory entrance.
The guesthouse provides a comfortable environment for students with a cafeteria, grocery store, study areas, luggage storage rooms, and laundry.
In periods of capacity problems, rooms are used as triples and newly registered students can be placed in triple rooms in the first semester. When there are empty beds, first the department students from the triple rooms and then the preparatory students are moved to the double rooms, ensuring that the rooms are used by two people. Room fees are calculated according to the number of students in the room. In cases where there is no capacity problem, the student's triple room request is not taken into consideration.
Students must pre-register by marking that they want to benefit from the Guesthouse during the e-registration to the University via the TOBB ETÜ website. Students who pre-register will be ranked according to their achievement rank, with priority given to those with full scholarships, and main and reserve lists will be created and announced on the TOBB ETÜ website. Reserve lists are valid for one year and students will be accepted in order when there is a vacancy.
Guesthouse registration procedures will be carried out on 04.09.2024. Students will submit their student ID cards to the administration so that their room information can be uploaded during the Guesthouse registration procedures.
Date of entry into the guesthouse is on 07.09.2024 for AF levels, and on 14.09.2024 for other students.
