Message from the Dean
The mission of the TOBB University of Economics and Technology (TOBB ETÜ) is to educate well-rounded, highly trained, entrepreneurial, and cooperative education–oriented young individuals who can become leaders in their respective fields.
In line with this mission, our Faculty of Medicine, established in 2013, has focused on similar goals and has secured its place in the field of medicine with its strong academic staff and educational programs designed to train, in the best possible way, highly motivated students who have chosen the medical profession and joined us through a rigorous examination process.
Our Faculty aims to graduate physicians with a high level of knowledge, reinforced through conceptual and applied basic medical sciences, internal medical sciences, and surgical medical sciences. Preventive medicine and the primary health problems of society, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, constitute essential components of the medical curriculum. Guided by a vision of nurturing future scientists, our program places emphasis on acquiring, evaluating, and interpreting knowledge, fostering research capabilities, and preparing students for their professional careers.
Throughout this process, as a student of TOBB ETÜ Faculty of Medicine, you are intended to become part of the almost 200-year-old tradition of “Tıbbiyeli”—the distinguished legacy of medical education in Türkiye.
