Exercises and practical applications will be conducted on topics such as building components, structural elements, building physics, statics and strength of materials, and related subjects. The module also includes courses on the interpretation of fundamental principles and legal regulations concerning zoning law, zoning regulations, fire regulations, thermal regulations, and earthquake regulations, as well as an introduction to project and construction management.

MİM 227 Architecture and Photography I Prerequisite: - 4
This course on architectural photography consists of two components: practical and theoretical. The theoretical component, conducted through lectures and visual materials, presents a chronological framework tracing the relationship between photography and architectural theory, history, and practice from its origins to the present. The practical component, focused on the production of architectural photography, provides students with the technical foundation necessary to express themselves through the language of photography.

It discusses the approaches, content, form, and techniques of photographs related to architecture and the built environment. It addresses the social and cultural background underlying the production of these photographs, as well as their modes of use and dissemination. In the practical component of the course, students produce photographs within a specified theme and prepare them for presentation in formats such as books, exhibitions, and video.
