Requirements:

  1. Students enrolled in Biomedical Engineering as a minor must complete the 25 credit requirement from the courses listed above .
  2. Students enrolled in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science and Nanotechnolgy Engineering, and pursuing Biomedical Engineering as a minor must take all the mandatory courses listed above except BME 205 and BME 205L and complete the course credit requirements from elective courses. 
  3. Students enrolled in Electrical-Electronics Engineering, and pursuing Biomedical Engineering as a minor must take all the mandatory courses listed above except BME 307 and complete the course credit requirements from elective courses.
  4. Students enrolled in any other department and pursuing Biomedical Engineering as a minor must take all the mandatory courses listed above, and complete the course credit requirements from elective courses.
  5. Pre-requisites are the same as described in the curriculum of the Department of Biomedical Engineering. 

Second Major Curriculum

Students pursuing Biomedical Engineering as a second major are responsible for all the courses listed in the curriculum of Biomedical Engineering. Requirements for the courses taken from the first major with siginificantly overlapping content may be wiaved by the Department of Biomedical ngineering.
