Faculty Elective Courses (FSD): Courses must be selected from the Faculty of Engineering, outside of the Biomedical Engineering curriculum, with at least 3 credits, according to the following rules:

All 3 credit, 2xx, 3xx and 4xx Faculty of Engineering courses that are outside the Biomedical Engineering Curriculum
1xx coded courses (except for the courses listed below) are not counted as Faculty Electives.

Departmental Electives (BSD): These courses can be taken from BMM 4xx or BMM 5xx coded, 3 credit courses. Maximum two BMM 5XX coded course can be selected.

University Elective Courses (USD): University Elective Courses (USD): A 3-credit course offered by any faculty or department except the Faculty of Engineering and the School of Foreign Languages can be taken as a university elective course.
