The size of the relationship between the employee and the employer can be seen in different ways. Workers and employers can perform a relationship related to working conditions both individually and collectively. It is possible to regulate working conditions through an individual contract. It can also be carried out collectively through the collective bargaining agreement. Here, industrial relations are concerned with individual relations, but rather with collective relations of parties. A collective level relationship requires the organization of the parties. This will reveal institutional relations. Industrial relations are more concerned with institutionalized relations. This requires the parties, workers and employers to have an institution (union). The narrow meaning of industrial relations is known as “Industrial relations examines the relations between industrial workers and their employers in modern societies”. An examination of the relationships between employees and employers an all sectors, including industry, would be an accurate definition, and this encompasses the broad meaning of industrial relations. Industrial relations, then, examine the relations between individual workers, trade unions, employers and the state. In this course, industrial relations strategies of entrepreneurs and operators will be examined in the context of developed and developing countries. The business world is constantly expanding due to both technological developments and easier access to information. Therefore, the issue that entrepreneurs who want to get a share from the expanding business world or who want to join the business world with new ideas, in a wide range from start to distribution, in order to reach their goals, is the financing of their projects. Various financing sources have been designed for entrepreneurs in capital markets. In this course, how entrepreneurs can access these resources in the first stage (start up) will be examined both at the theoretical and legal level. In this context, resources such as venture capital investment trusts, venture capital funds and crowdfunding will be discussed in detail. At the same time, alternative financing models such as going public for entrepreneurs, issuance of capital market instruments (financial bonds, private corporate bonds and eurobonds) will also be covered.

It is a fact that companies have become multinational and/or their activities at international level have become widespread in today's world where globalization is effective. In this context, it is important to evaluate and examine the operations of companies such as mergers, acquisitions and takeovers at both legal and due diligence levels. At the same time, the methods of companies to enter and invest in international markets, the types and costs of financing obtained from international markets are other important factors. On the other hand, the management of risks arising from the content of financing obtained from international markets is also on the agenda of these companies. In this framework, the internationalization of companies, and then financing and its management will be covered in detail in the "international corporate finance course".

In this course, basic concepts related to social policy such as welfare, social welfare and welfare policy principles, social assistance and services, social security will be learned and applications and evaluation criteria will be discussed. The aim of the course is to establish the necessary conceptual framework for the comparison of the social policy practice in Turkey to that in countries located in strategic geographies. Thereby, it is aimed to provide the information that will be needed to evaluate social policy practices in Turkey and in the country of destination and to interpret the cross-country differences and their consequences, upon being employed or becoming entrepreneurs in these countries.

The course aims to examine international migration from various perspectives and with a global approach in general. Therefore, reasons and the historical development of immigration in a global sense, the economic, political and social problems caused by it, asylum seekers, the interaction between international migration and international relations, and the effects of states and the immigrants as being the most important actors in the creation of the global immigration policy will be the main themes of the course.
