Assoc. Prof. Erdem ACAR, a faculty member from the Department of Mechanical Engineering is named a “Review Editor” for Structural and Multidisciplinary Optimization, an academic journal published by SPRINGER.

The Structural and Multidisciplinary Optimization had an impact factor of 2.3 as of 2016, and is one of the most prestigious publications in the field.

Assoc. Prof. Erdem ACAR is also on the editorial board of the International Journal of Crashworthiness, one of the most prestigious publications on the structural design of automobiles.
